Hey friends,
M and I have just arrived home from four days spent out and about, bopping along the BC coast.
Here are some snaps from our travels:
Sunflowers.
Woods.
Ferry.
Docks.
Sunset.
Pond.
JUMP.
So there you have it kidlets, a brief look at the last four days spent running, hiking, boating, cooking, and building (woodsheds!).
I got some pretty serious sun on my face (M told me that I should probably stop wearing those sunglasses for the next while because it’s starting to look like I have a wicked goggle tan!), watched the meteor shower – so amazingly beautiful, and learned that a cow has six teats and that the UN General Secretary during the Cuban Missile Crisis was was U Thant (oh Trivial Pursuit…)
Now we’re watching Star Wars and eating blizzards after a simple, delicious dinner of garden grown beans, squash, and local Island gruyere cheese.
Sublime.
What did you cats get up to for the weekend? I want to hear all about it.
Serious family time. Celebrated a birthday with one sibling and had a cookout and family get-together with the other sibling. Ahhhh.
That sounds absolutely lovely! Love, love me some serious fam jams :)
Love, love, love the photos – so breathtaking. There really is something incredible about B.C. So glad you guys had a great time away – it sounds like it was a blast.
Ah, a girl after my own heart: Star Wars!!
These are not the droids you are looking for!
I must reiterate how happy I was to see that you had a great time whilst up this way. We are two peas in a pod we are :)
xx
Great Post – loving your photos:)
Thanks sweets!

Haha i love the last picture! I spent my weekend working and being really really boring – I did nothing cool at all! I’m hoping this weekend will be a little better, but lately it’s all been uni homework :(
ah wuzz gonna say “NADA MOOCHO” but something rare (for us) happened: “sonny boy” & HIS NEW GURLFREN came by for the weekend. betty likes shannon, whereas she sez she never liked “the ex”.
and an OLD high skeeoool classmate dropped by also. other than that,
I’m jealous of your outdoor lifestyle! Unfortunately, it’s much too humid and hot here in the good old South to do anything outdoors. Which makes me also jealous of the lovely, lovely country in which you live. Can the great northern country make room for two more citizens? We don’t take up too much space. :)
p.s. I felt like I was making some sort of Game of Thrones reference there, with the north and the country and the like. Winter is coming. It is known. When you play the game of thrones, you– Ok, I’m done.
Come on up! Goodness knows we have the room :)
Haha, I love the GoT reference! Can I be Arya?
That docks photo is stunning. The sun streaming in and all! Beauty!
Hmm, not a big weekend. Got a haircut. Dustin worked OT on Saturday morning. Watched a bit of the All Blacks kick Aussie butt and had a new friend over for a cuppa. (Which is common slang for a cup of tea or coffee or any sort of hot drink really.)
Your pictures have me really looking forward to spring!

Thank you!
